KEYCHANGE PRESENTS: AN INTERVIEW WITH REBECCA FERGUSON

Keychange is proud to present a conversation with singing sensation, songwriter, campaigner, Ivors Academy Board Director and Liverpool native Rebecca Ferguson at Sound City. Having risen to fame through the X Factor, Rebecca's illustrious career has so far featured four top-ten albums, sold out tours and international collaborations with the likes of John Legend and Nile Rodgers. But out of the public eye, a very different story was unfolding as Rebecca was subjected to bullying and exploitation at the hands of an industry that took control of every aspect of her life - both professional and private.

Now an active and vocal campaigner for safer working conditions throughout the creative industries, Rebecca is collaborating with Creative UK and the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to prevent bullying, harassment, and discrimination from arising in creative work-places and environments, working towards visible and accountable codes of conduct, and ensuring access to independent advice and support networks for not just artists, but everyone working in the creative sectors.

In recognition of her contributions to this vital movement, Keychange is honoured to present Rebecca Ferguson with a Keychange Inspiration Award, celebrating her fearless campaigning and tireless advocacy to build and ensure a safer, stronger industry for all.
