Grace is Head of Music Minds Matter, a charity supporting the mental health of all those working in the music industry. Grace's career has spanned studying as a bassoonist at The Guildhall, later gaining her qualification as a music therapist and working for over a decade in mental health, education, and child development settings. As a passionate advocate for the power and value of music, Grace led the Music for Dementia campaign, and also campaigned more generally on the power of music to support health and wellbeing across the lifespan, publishing the Power of Music report with UK Music. Grace continues to play bassoon and contrabassoon with a variety of orchestras including the World Doctors Orchestra and the Irish Doctors Orchestra.
