Simon has been an integral part of the Sentric Music team since the company’s infancy, overseeing the signing of their first artist in 2006 (now home to tens of thousands of songwriters) & currently holds the position of Director of Music Services where he drives synchronisation. Here he has developed relationships with global media organisations & advertising agencies which has resulted in Sentric's catalogue being placed in adverts/movies/games/promos/TV shows worldwide.
He also has formed strong connections with various UK broadcasters & production companies which has seen Sentric's artists receiving syncs on primetime British terrestrial TV on a daily basis. For five years running the sync department at Sentric has been nominated at the Music Week Sync Awards as ‘Best Independent Publisher’.
In 2015 Simon was featured in Music Weeks’ ’30 Under 30’ list of prominent under 30’s in the Music Industry & has been invited to speak at various music industry conferences such as In The City, Liverpool Sound City, Reeperbahn, CO Pop Cologne, The Great Escape, By:Larm, Belfast Music Week, Berlin Music Week, The
Generator's Musicfutures, Norwich Sound & Vision, GoNorth, SPOT Festival, MENT, AIM's Sync Day & Sensoria Pro amongst others. He has been invited to discuss Sentric on BBC 6Music on two occasions & has consulted on judging panels for awards/grants for BAFTA, PRS, BRITs, Music Week & more. He is also a regular guest lecturer at LIPA, BIMM & Leeds Beckett amongst others.
