KEYCHANGE/ MUSICIANS UNION CREATIVE LAB

Keychange 2.0 Creative Labs: Our future in music In Association with the Musicians Union

As we kick off a new phase of Keychange and launch into a new decade, thinking about and preparing for the future seems even more urgent. Across industries and societies, everyone is asking questions about our future: How do we handle technological takeover? How will our planet survive beyond the next decade? How can we work smarter and take care of ourselves better? How can we ensure equity not only in the workplace but to enter the workplace?

This group of women and gender minority innovators and artists in Keychange 2.0 come from diverse backgrounds and 12 countries. With this edition’s Creative Labs, we want to provide opportunities for skill-building, network-growing and forward-thinking discussions around the “hows”: How we can not only future-proof our own careers? How can we contribute to sustainable business models for the music industry as a whole? How can we, as women and minority innovators and artists, contribute to the inevitably changing global
models?

From keynote talks through practical workshops, networking sessions, roundtable debates, lectures and more, we will maintain a glance to the future. We will analyse participants’ place in the music industry and establish confident trajectories. At the end of Keychange 2.0, we will summarize the Creative Labs with a publication of our vision for future scenarios of a more integrated and sustainable music industry.
