SOUND CITY CONFERENCE

Q. Where is the Sound City 2023 conference?

A. The Sound City Conference will take place across multiple venues in the city centre including:

FACT, 88 Wood St, Liverpool L1 4DQ
Phase One, 40 Seel St, Liverpool L1 4BE
The Jacaranda, 21-23 Slater St
Leaf, 65-67 Bold St, L14EZ Liverpool.

Q. When is the Sound City 2023 conference?

A. The Sound City conference will take place on Friday 28th April 2023.

Q. What time does Sound City Conference start?

A. The conference starts at 10:00 across venues.

Q. Where do I collect my pass from?

A. Registration for Delegates, Speakers and Students will be at Phase One, 40 Seel St, Liverpool L1 4BE. Press Passes - FACT 88 Wood St, Liverpool L1 4DQ

Q. How old do you have to be to go to Sound City Conference?

A. Aged 14+

Q. Will there be photography and filming at the conference?

A. Yes, the conference there will be filming and photography across all conference venues.

Q. How do I get to Sound City Conference?

A. The closest train station is Liverpool Central: Liverpool L1 1QE
    Parking is available near the conference site on Slater Street car park: 43 Seel St, Liverpool L1 4AZ
    Limited on street parking on Colquitt Street, Parr Street and Seel Street



NEW MUSIC FRIDAY

Q. What is New Music Friday?

A. New Music Friday is a programme of live shows across multiple venues in Liverpool City Centre featuring some of the country's most exciting emerging artists.

Q. When is New Music Friday?

A. New Music Friday will take place on Friday 28th April however tickets for New Music Friday will need to be purchased separately or as part of a festival package.

Q. What time is New Music Music Friday?

A. 16:00 - 23:00 in venues including: Shipping Forecast, EBGBs, Kaz Stockroom, Jimmy's, The Zanzibar, The Jacaranda, Leaf and Phase One.

Q. Where do I collect my ticket for New Music Friday?

A. Wristbands for New Music Friday will be collected at Phase One: 40 Seel St, Liverpool L1 4BE



TICKETS

Q. What does a conference only ticket get you?

A. A Sound City conference ticket grants you access to see all panels and attend workshops subject to capacity. Sound City conference tickets do not grant access to New Music Friday.

Q. Can I buy a conference and festival ticket for Sound City 2023?

A. You are able to purchase a Sound City Package which grants you access to the Conference, New Music Friday and weekend festival. You can get them here.

Q. What types of tickets are available?

A. Conference Only
    Conference & New Music Friday
    Conference, New Music Friday and full festival package

Q. When will my ticket be sent to me?

A. Purchased Tickets will be dispatched 3-4 weeks prior to the festival. If you haven’t received your ticket 2 weeks prior to the festival please contact the ticket agent that you booked through. If you purchased via the Sound City website the ticket agent is See.

Q. Do I need ID to collect tickets and in venues?

A. When picking up your ticket or delegate pass you will need confirmation of your ticket purchase. Certain venues will require ID so please ensure you have a valid ID with you.

Q. I can no longer attend Sound City. Can I get a refund?

A. All ticket purchases are non-refundable.

Q. How do I apply for a carer/personal assistant ticket?

A. Please email hello@soundcity.uk.com to apply for a carer/personal assistant ticket.

SUSTAINABILITY

Sound City is committed to environmental sustainability and ensuring the world is a greener place!

Actions we are taking to achieve this:

- Reviewing targets to reduce environmental impact year on year both as a business and in the delivery of our programmes

- Digital only festival programme and environmentally friendly festival wristbands

- We monitor our environmental impact annually with Julie’s Bicycle, SHIFT Liverpool

- Elimination of single-use plastic a requirement of all hire agreements with our festival venues

- Use of eco-friendly products as official festival food and drinks, eg NOBL water in biodegradable containers, Bundobust as food partner use recycled paper food containers and compostable cutlery
